~♪~♪~♪ Book Review ~♪~♪~♪ . ✧✧✧ First Comes Scandal ✧✧✧ . ෆ "Is it really a choice if the only other option can ruin your life?" ෆ Georgiana Bridgerton has never had a proper London Season, but that has never been a cause of dissatisfaction for her cause, let's be honest, who loves to be trapped in corsets and paraded around with feathers in their hair. ෆ But that was until she was abducted for her dowry, now the same London society is making her life miserable. Yes, being an Aristocrat comes as a package deal with scandals but the society is specifically known to be more cruel to women. ෆ Now, in comes Nicolas, the youngest Rokesby brother, Georgiana's long time neighbour and friend. Nicolas knows that marrying Georgiana is the honourable thing to do but will it be the right thing for him as well? ෆ With all his siblings married for love Nicolas can't even imagine NOT marrying for love. And if he had to fall in love with Georgiana wouldn't he have done so a long time ago? . ๑๑๑ Personal overview~ ๑๑๑ →I loved this story. It was so sweet and simple with so many beautiful characters it's really difficult not to love it. →This story is a wonderful example that a nice, sweet story can be created without ruining the characters lives (partially at least!) →I held my breath the whole story waiting for that silly misunderstanding which never occurred, and I can't even tell how awesome that felt. →Plus, I really really loved Nicolas's character. He was so much supporting and appreciative of Georgiana with almost zero ego. And I definitely love my men without that particular trait. →Nicolas was the perfect mixture of everything I dream about in a man. He was protective but not overprotective and trusted Georgiana in her decisions, not undermining her because of her gender. →And the most important thing I love about Julia Quinn's book is that she has the magic of making the relationships so beautiful. She makes them more than physical, she makes them feel so intimate. It's just so freaking beautiful. . P.S. Hope you guys are liking my edits. . Happy Reading~~~ Toodles.
