Could it be any better? ↝ Now she must infiltrate a rich merchant's house in guise of her daughter's companion in hopes of tracing his missing cargo ships. ↝ Set in the Victorian London, packed with Action, Suspense, Scandals, Banters and some occasional romance. This is a read for the historical mystery lovers. . Personal overviewゞゞ ⊰⊹ I started this book like, 2-3 months ago and finished almost half of it before I decided to take a break. ⊰⊹ It's a good story but I was kind of hoping for some more excitement. I personally enjoy a bit intense cases, like ones where we would just suck our breathes in for the conclusion, a little gruesome events and stuff while this case was like sweet and simple. ⊰⊹ I enjoyed the banters between James and Mary, plus Mary's character and her ways too were impressive. *Passing as a half-American while actually being a Chinese-Irish is impressive to say the least* ⊰⊹ You guys would definitely like it if you love a cosy mystery with a bit of romance. .
