From the time I've started reading consistently, I've been advised by many people to keep a journal or a diary. But diaries or physical journals have never quite been my kind of thing. So, after giving this matter a considerable amount of thought, I finally decided on online journals, or blogs.
Let me tell you why.
I am perfectly aware that every situation has it's respective pros and cons. But in this blog I'm gonna highlight the top 5 positive sides of online journals.
◕ First off, an online journal is literally heaven for someone with a bad handwriting. Just think, you have an amazing talent at writing but nobody understands a word of what you write. Here digital journals are your life savor.
◕ Then comes the matter of security, online journals can provide you with both privacy or publicity, depending upon what you wish for. If you want your writing up for everyone to read this is the thing you should go for, at the same time if you don't want anyone to go go through your journal, what's better than a digital one?
◕ You can easily decorate your journal with different fonts, designs and edits. You can add different audio clips, video files as well as pictures to make it feel more welcoming, beautiful and aesthetic.
◕ Text Search is another option that is never available on your paper journal. Perhaps you're trying to figure out the exact meaning of a particular word you want to use in your journal but no matter how hard you try you can not figure out its meaning. One text search on the particular word and BINGO there's a list of its synonyms along with its meaning.
◕ Last and maybe the most important one, you can't just misplace your online journal. It is practically impossible to lose it. No matter where in the world you are you can always access it as long as you have internet.
I myself have always been an online journal kind of person, partly cause I am too lazy to keep an actual physical journal and partly because I think my writing shouldn't be left circling between me and the people I know. I love to keep my opinions up front for others to read but that's just me...
But I really hope I have convinced you to use a digital journal from now on. And if you decide to
